At the end of the no through road on a hill 4km from Belvès, lies this beautiful restored farmhouse built around a courtyard in traditional Perigordian style. It has a superb private swimmingpool (11m x 5m) with an uninterrupted view over the surrounding countryside, by "omitting" one side of the pool. So you can enjoy the magnificent outlook while you are swimming. We protected the pool with an electronic alarm.

At various places, both left and right of the house and by the pool, there are terraces to enjoy either the sun or shade. And beneath the new 'auvent' you are able to enjoy a delicious outside meal, no matter the weather conditions.

The house has an interesting ambience with a lounge and annexed kitchen, which are separated from one another by a fireplace with views to both spaces.

The kitchen is set up with a microwave oven, dishwasher, 2 fridges with separate freezer compartments and a 4 ring gas cook top.

On another level there are 2 bedrooms with double beds, and a bathroom with a bath, shower, a double washbasin and toilet. On the same level there is a mezzanine with a seating area (single sofa bed), TV (Dutch & French channels) and a DVD player.

There are a further 2 bedrooms, each with 2 single beds and a bathroom (bath, shower, bidet, toilet). A high chair and a cot are present (please bring your own bedlinen).

In a space under the house you'll find a washing machine and dryer.

In the shed next to the pool there is a tabletennis facility. There are 2 picnic tables available for hearty outdoor meal times and a barbecue.

Parasols and garden furniture are available.

In short, a house where you feel at one with the world but where you have all the sights just around the corner, eg: ancient castles, prehistoric caves, picturesque villages and local markets. The Dordogne river is just 15 minutes away and here you can swim, fish or canoe.

All linen is included in the tariff except for large swimming towels.

For your daily needs there is a small supermarket and bakery as well as a bank with ATM facilities in Belvès. There is a large supermarket and petrol facilities in Siorac-en-Périgord.

Pets are permissible.
