Between the peaceful hills in the Dordogne valley, amongst castles (4 km to Chateau Les Milandes, 5 km to Chateau Castelnaud) lies this spacious, comfortable holiday home, affording views and gardens with different themes.

You arrive at the home via a narrow laneway, where you can park your car in the shade at the rear. The entrance at the front under a covered terrace stretching the full length of the house, where you can enjoy breakfast enjoying the morning sun or dinner in the cool of the evenings.
The attractive lounge area has a separate dining and sitting area. You will find books and games for your enjoyment on the bookshelf. There is satellite TV, a DVD player and a CD/cassette player available. A free WiFi connection is available for the computer.
The open plan kitchen is well equipped with 2 fridges, 4 burner gas stove, a dishwasher and microwave oven.

There are 3 bedrooms, 2 with double beds and the third has 2 single beds. In the renovated bathroom you'll find a wash basin and shower recess. There is a separate toilet and a washing machine can be found downstairs. A child's cot and high chair is available. Please bring your own bedding for the child's cot.

Below in the garden is the pool with a terrace and garden furniture. You are able to keep an eye on the young ones from the terrace surrounding the house.

There is a swing and trampoline for the children and others can enjoy the fun of badminton, table tennis and jeu-de-boule. There are two outdoor tables, one next to the stone bbq and one on a lowel terrace.

Pets are not allowed.

Due to its location in the heart of Périgord Noir, this is a perfect place from which to familiarize yourself with the area. Just a short distance away you will discover the outstanding sights such as castles (Les Milandes, Castelnaud, Beynac), prehistoric caves (Lascaux, Les Eyzies) and picturesque villages (Domme, Sarlat, Belvès, Monpazier). You can hire canoes for a trip along the castles or swim in the Dordogne river (5 mins), horse ride (10 mins) or play golf at 2 nearby links.

Later one can sample the local food delicacies of the region (foie gras, canard, truffles, wines from Bordeaux and Bergerac) in one of the many local restaurants.

In St Cyprien (7 km) and Siorac-en-Périgord (10 km) you will find a supermarket with petrol outlet and a bank with ATM facilities.
Excellent restaurants can be found in Allas-les-Mines (6 km), St. Cyprien, Beynac and La Roque-Gageac.
