At the edge of a small village with a bakery, butchery, tobacconist selling daily papers and an outstanding restaurant within walking distance lies this recently (2007) built stylish holiday villa, surrounded by a huge garden (6000m2) where children can roam comfortably.

The grounds lend themselves to an open style of architecture and the floors are all parquetry.
The spacious lounge with exposed beams has a seating area with 3 comfortable couches. Further there is satellite TV, a DVD player, sound system and dining area. Complimentary WiFi is provided.
Two sliding doors provide access to a large covered deck, suitable for meals outside also during clouded days.

In the modern, well equipped kitchen with large oven, dishwasher, 'American' fridge with separate freezer, microwave, blender and coffee maker, preparing a delicious, authentic French meal becomes a piece of cake. The washing machine is placed in the scullery.

Furthermore, on the ground floor, you'll find two bedrooms and a bathroom. The parents' bedroom has a double bed (1.40m x 1.90m) with king-size duvet. The second bedroom has two single beds (0.90m x 1.90m). Both bedrooms have wardrobes.
For small children there is a cot and high chair available (please bring your own bedding for the cot). The spacious bathroom has a bath with shower, double sink and toilet. Both the bathroom and kitchen have practical floor tiles.

A wooden spiral staircase leads to the "tower room" on the first floor with ample landing and a bedroom with a private bathroom. In this bedroom you'll find a double bed (1.40m x 1.90m) and sufficient storage space. The adjoining bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet.

The private pool (8m x 4m) with electric alarm is situated protected at the side of the house. There are outdoor lounge chairs on 2 sides of the pool on the terraced area with outstanding views.

Unfortunately pets are not allowed.

Le Ruisseau is an ideal location for excursions into the surrounding region. Discover and explore the outstanding Hautefort Castle nearby, the middle ages village of Sarlat and the capital of the Dordogne: Périgueux. Visit the centre of prehistoric times, Les Eyzies, the caves of Lascaux or Tourtoirac or one of the cosy local markets. There is always one nearby.
